The Mechanical Manductor

I accidentally awoke a sleeping hermit in a cave once who had a hand similar to this to replace a hand that he said that "Went Bad" He was raving about coming from the future, being "The Chosen One" and some army of darkness. Also that he had not slept long enough. He took a few drops from a potion and promtply went back to sleep. You can see it here posed with my Atmospheric Equaliser

While he was napping I took some sketches of the hand and even managed to remove it from him and return it after getting the feel for the crafting of it. I must admit having a hand back on my arm feels "Uber Gut!" (German for Groovy!. ed.)

Its a welding glove with some plates of plastic, and the altered finger pieces from a couple of cheap "Freddy Kreuger" gloves.
